Event marketing platform for educational institutions
Campuses run more events than almost anyone. Open days, convocations, reunions, fests. Premagic turns the students, faculty, and alumni already coming into promoters. It delivers everyone their photos within minutes. And it answers the data-protection office before marketing even asks.

What you're on the hook for
Fill every campus event
Open days, fests and conferences all compete for the same families and students. Turnout is the scoreboard.
Own the convocation moment
Every family wants to share it the same day. It has to reach them while the pride is still fresh.
Keep alumni warm between asks
The reunion and the donation both depend on a relationship that is more than one email a year.
The four problems that make those jobs hard
Each one has the same root: the people who would happily promote your institution are never given a way to do it.
Your open day competes with every other campus's open day.
Applicants trust a current student more than a prospectus. Carnegie's 2025 research reports peer and student content out-scoring official institutional content on trust. The families deciding right now live in your students' networks, not on your mailing list. Most institutions never turn that trust into an actual channel.

Convocation photos arrive weeks late, if at all.
The one day every family wants to share is over long before the photos land. The pride fades, the posts never happen, and the most credible admissions marketing an institution can get quietly evaporates.
Student photos are a governance question before a marketing one.
Under FERPA, a student photo can be a protected education record: directly related to a student and maintained by the institution. That means it cannot be disclosed without written consent unless an exception applies. A directory-information opt-out persists indefinitely, even after the student leaves. So whatever runs on campus has to answer the data-protection office first.
Alumni hear from you once a year, when you want money.
Only about one in five alumni engage with their institution at all. And giving is the smallest slice of that: 16.9% of engagement is philanthropy, against 57.5% for plain communication. The base stays warm through contact and shared moments, not the annual ask. A relationship built on one email a year has nothing to hold.

Pride in an institution is the strongest advocacy trigger there is
Across our 366-event dataset, the best-run events turn 50-89% of the room into advocates. A convocation or a reunion starts with more built-in pride than almost any professional event, so the ceiling for a campus is high. The playbook series shows the full model, from the ask to the attribution.

The playbook, one play per problem
Each play below is a campaign campus teams run with Premagic. Each one names the pain it kills and the gain it creates.
Put the open day in your students' networks
Give students, faculty and offer-holders a personalized poster with their own referral link. The open day reaches the exact families deciding right now, through people they already believe, and a live leaderboard shows which registrations each advocate brought in.
ProofSee how poster campaigns workPoster campaigns are built to drive 4x registrations through authentic social sharing.
Deliver convocation photos while the family is still in the hall
Face recognition matches every graduate to their photos and delivers them by email and WhatsApp within minutes. Parents post them the same afternoon, which is the most credible admissions marketing your institution will ever run.
ProofSee photo distributionImpresario runs exactly this at the All India Ophthalmological Conference: every delegate is face-matched to their own photos and sent them while the congress is still running, with no manual tagging and no one chasing a photographer.
Answer the data-protection office first
Photos go privately to each matched person and are never shared with third parties. Face matching runs with consent, and for sensitive events a PII-free mode lets someone find their photos with a selfie that is deleted straight after, so no student record is created at all.
ProofSee how privacy worksPremagic is GDPR and CCPA compliant, matches faces at 99.9% accuracy, and runs the same PII-free gallery mode HCL Tech uses across its own events.
Open the alumni conversation with their own memory
Last reunion's photos become this reunion's invitation. Each alum receives the picture of themselves from the previous edition, which is a reason to open the message and a reason to come back, rather than another newsletter asking for something.
ProofSee the event assets libraryThrowback campaigns draw from the same face-matched photo archive, so the reunion promotes itself from the goodwill the last one already earned.
Built for how an institution buys
Data protection answered in writing
GDPR and CCPA compliant, consent-based face matching, private delivery, and a PII-free mode for sensitive cohorts. Documentation is ready for the data-protection office before any pilot.
Runs under the institution's brand
Galleries and campaigns white-label to your domain and identity, so students, families and alumni see their institution, not a vendor.
Works with your registration or student list
Premagic syncs with your registration platform or CRM, or takes a CSV, and picks up new signups automatically. No change to how your teams already work.
Pilot one event, then reuse everywhere
Usage-based pricing fits an events calendar that spans open days, convocations, fests and reunions. The photo archive one event builds becomes the campaign material for the next.
